for me painting is a way to reflect my state of mind and capture moments I love. My portfolio is composed to express people how I see them. It makes me happy to paint and focus on the bigger picture of the painting instead of getting caught up in details right away. Painting has taught me that creating meaningful art is about building something step by step, and having faith that the end result will be beautiful. The most enjoyable part about my art is that it sparks my interest, I love to look at what I've done and enjoy the process along the way. Having patience is what I believe is most important in my art, I don't rush, but I get everything done quickly because before I take the brush to the canvas, I have a plan and I'm prepared.
